Why now
Do the rooftrim while the scaffold is up
Scaffolding is a large part of the cost of any roof job. Doing one thing with it and taking it down again is money thrown away.
If the roof is being stripped, the fascias, soffits, bargeboards and guttering are all within arm’s reach for the first time in years. Replacing them then costs a fraction of what it costs as a separate visit later.
We price the roof and the rooftrim together so you can see both, and you can decide with the numbers in front of you rather than after the scaffold has gone.
- Full re-roofs in tile and slate
- Repairs, ridge work and flashings
- Flat roofs and single-ply coverings
- Fascias, soffits, bargeboards and guttering

What we do
The roofing we take on
Re-roofing
Stripped, felted, battened and re-covered in tile or slate.
Repairs
Slipped tiles, failed flashings, ridge and verge work.
Flat roofs
Extensions, dormers and outbuildings covered and detailed to drain.
Rooflights
New rooflights and lanterns formed into pitched and flat roofs.
Rooftrim
Fascias, soffits, bargeboards and guttering replaced at the same time.
Scaffolded properly
Access designed for the job rather than improvised from ladders.
Worth knowing
Repair or replace?
The honest answer depends on the felt underneath, not the tiles you can see.
Tiles last far longer than the felt beneath them. A roof that looks sound from the ground can have felt that has perished at the eaves, which is where most leaks actually start.
We look in the loft as well as at the roof before advising. Sometimes a repair genuinely is the right call, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a re-roof.
