How it started
One van, one trade, one town
Thomas set the business up in 2007 after more than twenty-five years in the industry, fitting windows around East Grinstead.
What grew the business was not advertising. It was customers asking whether we could also do the doors, then the fascias, then the conservatory roof — and being told yes rather than being handed somebody else’s number.
Nearly two decades on the work is broader, but the reason people ring has not changed: they want one firm that turns up, does what it said and tidies up afterwards.

The Holtye Group
Three companies, one team
Same office, same phone number, same people. It just means we can take on the whole project rather than the part of it that happens to be glazing.
Holtye Windows

Holtye Construction
Renovations, refurbishments and building works, domestic and commercial.
Holtye Kitchens & Bathrooms
Full kitchen and bathroom design, supply and installation.
Meet the team
The people who turn up
Between them they cover glazing, warm roofs, building work, carpentry, kitchens and bathrooms — which is why one call usually covers the whole job.

How we work
What has not changed since 2007
Our own people
Fitters, carpenters and builders on our books rather than whoever is available that week.
A written price
Itemised after a proper look, so the number at the end is the number you agreed.
A straight answer
Including when the answer is that you do not need the work, or that we are not the right firm.
Registered and insured
Certass registered, fully insured and SafeContractor approved.
Left tidy
Making good and clearing up are part of the job rather than an extra line.
10 year guarantee
Everything we supply and install is covered.
The showroom
Come and put your hands on it
Photographs only tell you so much. A door feels different when you open it, and a worktop looks different in daylight.
The showroom on Station Road has windows, doors, kitchens and bathrooms in, with parking at the rear. You are welcome to walk in during opening hours, or ring ahead if you want someone free to talk things through properly.
If it is easier, we will come to you instead. Surveys are free and there is no obligation either way.
