The brief
Everything, handed over as one job
Most renovations happen a room at a time, with a different firm for each trade and the homeowner left to keep them in order. This one came to us whole: glazing, an extension roof, a kitchen, a cloakroom, and every wall and floor in between.
That is what the Holtye Group is set up for. Windows, building work, and kitchens and bathrooms are all in-house, so one team could plan the job and see it through.
What we did
One floor, running through the house
The same herringbone floor runs from the hall through the living room to the dining room, which is what makes separate rooms read as one house. Walls were plastered and painted white, so the colour comes from what the owners chose: a terracotta radiator, pink cabinets and a green front door.
The kitchen has oak-effect units and a breakfast bar. The cloakroom went the other way entirely: navy tiles to dado height, bird-patterned wallpaper above and a copper tap.
